In this role, you’ll be part of a focused, collaborative team where your input directly impacts our solutions. You will have the direct support and coaching of our experienced developers to help you grow, while still taking ownership of the features you build. You will be encouraged to think critically about the logic behind our builds. You’ll be working primarily with a modern FastAPI (Python) and Vue.js stack, supported by a team that values knowledge sharing and robust DevOps practices.

Your job in a nutshell:

• Collaborative design: work with experienced developers and product owners to brainstorm and design the logic of new features before diving into the code.

• Feature ownership: take responsibility for the end-to-end development of components, from back-end logic to front-end delivery, with the safety net of peer reviews from your team.

• Logical problem solving: troubleshoot technical hurdles by identifying root causes. We value a developer who proposes a "better way" rather than just the "fastest way."

• System evolution: maintain and optimize existing Python and PHP (Symfony/Laravel) codebases, helping the team transition legacy logic into our modern microservices.

• Continuous growth: active participation in technical discussions and project planning to help refine our technical requirements and milestones.

• With a ‘solution first’ mindset you demonstrate the ability to think through a project's requirements and find an efficient, logical path to a high-quality result.

• You have at 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in web development, a solid grasp of software lifecycles and are ready for more responsibility.

• Thanks to your practical knowledge of Python (FastAPI preferred) and JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred, Modern Stack is your cup of tea.

• Your core web skills are on point thanks to your strong understanding of HTML/CSS frameworks such as Tailwind and database management (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

• You’re familiar with Git and working within a Linux/Unix command-line environment.

• You communicate fluently  in English and/or Dutch.

• Knowledge of Cloud Native & CI/CD (Kubernetes) and PHP familiarity (Symfony or Laravel) are strong added values.
