As a Business Controller, you’ll play a crucial role in transforming financial data into strategic insights. With a clear focus on ownership, analysis, and operational impact, you’ll support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Here's what you'll dive into:

• Financial analysis & insights – Analyse actuals against budgets and forecasts across multiple business activities.

• Management reporting – Prepare monthly management reports for internal stakeholders.

• Budgeting & forecasting – Coordinate the full budgeting process and rolling forecasts.

• Business partnering – Act as a financial sounding board for management by preparing business cases and strategic plans.

• Profitability & KPI monitoring – Develop KPIs and provide insights into customer and product profitability.

• Reporting optimisation & ad hoc projects – Enhance reporting models and contribute to cross-departmental financial projects.

Must Have Qualities & Talents

• A first experience in audit or controlling, with strong analytical and organisational capabilities.

• Solid technical expertise in Power BI, pivot tables, queries, and handling large datasets.

• Able to translate financial data into operational and strategic business insights.

• Clear and confident communication skills, especially when presenting financial results.

• Proficient in Excel and experienced with ERP systems; familiarity with other reporting tools is a plus.

• Fluent in Dutch, with a good working knowledge of French and English.

• We expect employees to work at least 3 days per week in our Oostkamp office.
