As a Network Engineer, you play a key role in innovative telecom projects by applying your technical expertise to the rollout of (Mobile Private) Networks. You work closely with project managers, technicians, and external partners to ensure project goals are achieved smoothly and efficiently.

Here’s What You’ll Dive Into:

• Innovation: You collaborate with the presales team to identify customer-focused IT opportunities that improve their telecom experience.

• Project: You work together with the project manager to execute and monitor IT projects, ensuring that the customer’s requirements are fully met. You provide support both at the office and on-site at customer locations.

• Design & Configuration: During project execution, you provide technical support related to networking, including network design, configuration of network components (such as routers, switches, firewalls), and implementation of (Mobile Private) Networks.

• Testing & Maintenance: You are responsible for setting up, testing, documenting, and maintaining network solutions, ensuring accurate technical reports, configurations, and performance data.

• Monitorring & Support: You actively contribute to the security, monitoring, and optimization of network systems, and provide second-line support for incidents, backups, and recovery procedures.

These are your Talents:

• Preferable 3 years of experience in a relevant role (IT support, IT project management or similar), combined with strong knowledge of networking technologies and components such as IP networks, routers, switches, firewalls and BGP, including configuration and support.
  Motivated graduates will also be considered.

• An analytical and creative problem-solver who keeps the overview and comes up with innovative solutions for IT challenges in telecom projects.

• Driven and accountable with an entrepreneurial mindset; flexible and at ease in a dynamic, fast-changing sector.

• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a nice plus.

• Willing to work regularly on-site with customers; being based in Belgium is a strong advantage.
