As a Network Engineer, you play a key role in innovative telecom projects by applying your technical expertise to the rollout of (Mobile Private) Networks. You work closely with project managers, technicians, and external partners to ensure project goals are achieved smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities:

• You collaborate with the presales team to identify customer-focused IT opportunities that improve their telecom experience.

• You work together with the project manager to execute and monitor IT projects, ensuring that the customer’s requirements are fully met. You provide support both at the office and on-site at customer locations.

• During project execution, you provide technical support related to networking, including network design, configuration of network components (such as routers, switches, firewalls), and implementation of (Mobile Private) Networks.

• You stay aware of potential technical risks and proactively provide appropriate solutions and adjustments as needed throughout the project.

• You are responsible for setting up, testing, documenting, and maintaining network solutions, ensuring accurate technical reports, configurations, and performance data.

• You actively contribute to the security, monitoring, and optimization of network systems, and provide second-line support for incidents, backups, and recovery procedures.

Who are you?

• You have solid knowledge of networking technologies and components, including IP networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and BGP, and you are able to configure and support them.

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant role, such as IT support or IT project management.

• You think creatively and outside the box, while always keeping an overview when searching for solutions.

• You have an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, especially when it comes to IT challenges in telecom projects.

• You are driven, take ownership, and have a true entrepreneurial mindset.

• You are flexible, adapt quickly, and feel at home in a dynamic and fast-changing industry.

• You are fluent in English and Dutch, French is a nice bonus.
